The idea for the winery began with current owners Paul and Anna-Neale Taylor when, in 1995 while clearing a part of their farm, they discovered a tangle of wild grapes growing along the hillside. And so, in 1996 Paul and Anna-Neale planted their first test grapes and began planting their main vineyard in 1997"
