A staycation? A one tank trip?
Belpre, Ohio is part of the Parkersburg | Marietta | Vienna
metropolitan area located in the mid-Ohio Valley near the confluence of
the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers. Marietta and Belpre are notable, respectively,
as the first and second settlements in the Northwest Territory.
As you can see our bed-and-breakfast | condo-hotel | hotel is around
2 or 3 hours away from nearly all of the major Ohio cities. We are just as close
to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and to Charleston or Wheeling, West Virginia.
Points of interest (some closer than others) include Marietta College
(15 minutes), Ohio University in Athens (less than an hour), West Virginia University
at Morgantown (2 hours) and, of course, The Ohio State University in Columbus
(2 hours).
